Summer Hills

This painting was done on location in Douglas County, Oregon, at Mildred Kanipe County Park. I enjoyed the shapes of the rolling hills and the way the colors mingle. Even the barn seems sunburnt. Later I spotted an owl hiding in a hole at the top of the barn.
